Energy consumption in Spain:

Consumption is differentiated into three periods

  1. The peak period: with the highest price, from 10am to 2pm and from 6pm to 10pm from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
  2. The flat period: a less expensive price from 8am to 10am, from 2pm to 6pm and from 10am to 12pm.
  3. The peak and off-peak periods are shifted one hour forward in the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
  4. The off-peak period: with a reduced price includes the night hours (from midnight to 8 a.m.) and all hours of Saturday and Sunday and national holidays.
